About us
Introduction
Our mission & values
We provide support and information and we organise events for people touched by TS, as well as training for everyone – teachers, healthcare professionals, employers!
Iktic-Jetique are dedicated to making tics and TS better known in a positive way and to increase understanding and awareness across Belgium. If you are a parent/carer or family member of someone with tics or TS, someone with TS, a teacher or employer let us tell you more!
We have information leaflets in different languages, a multilingual website, we can visit schools, workplaces, hospitals to give talks, we have ID cards, online and face to face events for people with TS & their families, training and events for health professionals and much more...
Our aim is to improve the quality of, and access to, services for those living with Tourette Syndrome in Belgium and to educate and raise awareness about Tourette Syndrome and its associated conditions.
We want people with tics and tic disorders to receive practical support as well as social acceptance to allow them live their lives to the full. We receive no government funding and so rely on fundraising and donations from the public and charitable trusts.
Our people
The board consists only of motivated volunteers!

Our commitment
Iktic-Jetique are dedicated to making tics and TS better known in a positive way and to increase understanding and awareness across Belgium. If you are a parent, someone with TS, a teacher or employer let us tell you more!

But we can’t do this without your help!
The funds you donate go a long way from offering support in education for a pupil with TS, for us to deliver webinars for parents, children, adults and professionals, as well as running support groups.
Become a volunteer
Iktic-Jetique is an organisation that can only run with the help of volunteers.
You help leading or assisting at one or more activities in your neighbourhood; during lectures, conference and events, during our weekend at the sea-side.
Candidate volunteers can apply by sending us an email in which they introduce themselves and explain what their expectations are by working as a volunteer.
We will then invite you for an interview and after a positive conversation and a short internal training, you can join us as a volunteer.
Make a donation
You can make a one-off donation, or sign up for a monthly payment from 40€ per year - 3.5€ per month!
We can provide you with a tax certificate, so you can deduct your generous donation from your tax returns. For every 40€ that you contribute, you get a tax benefit of 18€.
So in fact you pay 22€ for a 40€ donnation to Iktic-Jetique.
